Mark Burgess MIEx (grad)

Mark has been designing and delivering training courses in international trade for over 15 years. His diversification into professional training followed several years gathering varied experience in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.

Specialising in documentation, Customs & Excise and the procedural dimensions of international trade, Mark has become firmly established as an authority in this field. He is equally practiced in the more commercial aspects of international trade delivering highly successful courses in payment procedures, export control and other financial topics.

Mark works regularly with both private and public sector organisations as well as many major manufacturing companies both in the UK and overseas.

Jim Sherlock FIEx, ACIM, Cert Ed.

Jim is also accredited by the Institute of Export, and when not teaching, works with the Institute as the Director of Special Projects.

Following 20 years as a senior lecturer in international trade at Manchester College and extensive experience in the UK manufacturing sector, Jim is now providing specialised export training and consultancy to a wide range of UK and Overseas clients.

Jim is the author of 'Principles of International Physical Distribution' (Blackwells) and up to very recently, general editor of Croner's Management of Export.
